A new game from the team behind Dead Space, Dante's Inferno for the Playstation 3 developed by EA's Visceral games is set to give the poet Dante Alighier's "Divine Comedy" a renewal and reinterpretation.

This third person action adventure sees Beatrice, the wife of main character Dante, brutally murdered. Distorted and broken the main protagonist Dante descends to the depths of hell and walks its nine circles: treachery, gluttony, lust and limbo just to name a few.

He must face his own demons and save his beloved wife Beatrice from the seducing clutches of Lucifer. Armed with Death's Scythe and the Holy Cross of his wife, Dante extends to walk every circle of hell to save her. Visceral games promise a mature action adventure experience and if Dead Space is anything to go by, this game will no doubt please.
